I’ve been doing sound for small gigs and weddings for about eight years. And one question I hear all the time from other musicians and DJs is: “Do I really need a separate mixer if I just want a decent professional speaker that gets loud and doesn’t feed back?”
Honestly, most of the time, no. But only if you pick the right active speaker.
I remember a friend of mine bought a cheap “2000W” PA speaker online. Looked fancy. Bluetooth, lights, the whole thing. First gig, he plugged his mic and guitar straight in. The volume was fine until he tried to go louder – then it started clipping and sounded like a broken radio. Plus, every time he moved near the speaker, it squealed. He was so frustrated.
That’s when I told him about the EON-915 from audfine. I’d tested one a few weeks earlier at an outdoor BBQ. Actually, let me back up.

Why most “loud” speakers lie to you
You see numbers like 2000W, 3000W, even 5000W on some no-name boxes. It’s nonsense. Most of them measure peak power for half a millisecond. What matters is RMS – the power you can use continuously without the amp frying.
The EON-915 is rated at 700W RMS, 1400W peak. That’s honest. I ran it for four straight hours at a friend’s backyard party. Hit 123dB max SPL at 1 meter – that’s genuinely loud enough for 150 people dancing. No distortion, no thermal shutdown. The Class-D amp stayed cool even when we pushed it.
So yes, it’s a real 1400W speaker. Not fake. Not inflated.
Three channels – leave the mixer at home
Here’s what made my friend switch. The back of the EON-915 has two combo jacks (XLR and 1/4 inch) plus a 3.5mm aux input. That’s three channels. Each has its own volume knob. And there’s an XLR output to daisy chain a second speaker.
He plugged his vocal mic into channel one, his acoustic guitar into channel two, and his tablet with backing tracks into the aux. No external mixer. No extra power supply. Set up in three minutes. He texted me after his first gig: “This thing is a lifesaver.”
So if you’re a solo musician, a duo, or even a small band using tracks, you really don’t need extra gear. That’s why the EON-915 works so well as a PA speaker for small venues.
TWS Bluetooth – not the gimmick you think
I’ll admit: I used to hate Bluetooth on professional gear. Pairing was flaky. Lag was awful. But the EON-915 uses TWS Bluetooth 5.0. Two things changed my mind.
First, you can stream background music from your phone between sets. That’s nice but not a game changer.
Second, TWS – True Wireless Stereo. Grab two units, pair them wirelessly, and they become left and right channels. No XLR cable running across the floor where people trip. I set this up at a rooftop bar last summer. The two speakers were about 25 feet apart. The stereo image was solid and the connection never dropped. For a DJ or a band using stereo backing tracks, this is huge.
One customer asked me: “Will it lag if I run karaoke vocals through the Bluetooth?” Don’t do that. Use a wired mic for live vocals. But for music playback? It’s fine.
Feedback suppression – I tested it on purpose
The EON-915 has a built-in DSP effects processor with an LCD screen. You can adjust EQ, echo, and delay for each input separately. But the feature that saved my friend’s gigs is automatic feedback suppression.
He used to get that horrible screech whenever he walked in front of the speaker with a live mic. With the EON-915, I literally took a mic and held it close to the grille on purpose. The speaker squeaked for half a second – then killed the frequency. Silence. He looked at me like I did magic. Nope. Just a good active speaker.
Build that takes a beating
We all know gear gets knocked around. Loading in and out of vans, setting up on uneven stages, the occasional drop. The EON-915 uses a tough PP cabinet – not cheap plastic, not heavy wood. JBL-style actually. And a metal grille that protects the drivers.
Inside: a 15-inch woofer with a 3-inch voice coil and 60 oz ferrite magnet. Plus a 44mm titanium diaphragm compression driver for the highs. Frequency response goes down to 45Hz – you actually feel the kick drum. Crossover at 2.0 kHz. Coverage is 100° by 60°, wide enough for a room but not so wide that you’re blasting the walls.
Three ergonomic handles – one on top, two on the sides. Standard 35mm pole socket on the bottom. Works with any speaker stand or light stand.

Common questions from real buyers
“Can I use this as a floor monitor?”
Yes. Lay it on its side at 45°. Works as a wedge.
“Does the Bluetooth license cost extra?”
No. At audfine, it’s included. Some factories try to charge an extra $5 per unit. We don’t.
“Can I get my logo on it? Custom color?”
Absolutely. We are an OEM Bluetooth speaker China factory and a China active speaker factory. Need white cabinets? Your brand on the grille? Custom packaging for Amazon? We do that. We’re a custom PA speaker supplier and ODM professional speaker manufacturer. Many of our clients sell the EON-915 under their own name.
“Can I order a sample?”
Yes. One unit. You pay shipping. We send a fully tested unit.
Why audfine instead of a trading company?
I’ve seen too many people get burned by middlemen on Alibaba. They pay 30% extra and get zero support when a unit fails. audfine is a real factory. We build the EON-915 on our own assembly line. That means:
-
Better price – no markup.
-
Real QC – every unit gets tested before boxing.
-
OEM/ODM – we have engineers. You want a different driver or a custom DSP preset? We can do it. We’re a true 1400W speaker manufacturer.
One of my regular clients runs a rental company in Texas. He used to buy from a famous brand, but repair costs were killing his margin. He switched to a custom version of the EON-915 – same performance, half the price, with a two-year warranty. He now owns over 80 units and keeps reordering.
Still not sure? Let’s talk.
Maybe you’re wondering: “Will it work outdoors in 95°F heat?” Yes – the Class-D amp runs cool. “Does the DSP remember settings after power off?” Yes. “What’s bulk pricing for 200 units?” Just send me your numbers.
