Max SPL? 119dB, 121dB, 123dB. The 15‑inch one gets loud enough for 200 people outdoors. The 10‑inch is good for 50 people indoors.

“Why wood? Plastic is cheaper.”

Yeah, plastic is cheaper. But plastic flexes. When the woofer moves, the cabinet moves too. That makes the sound muddy. Birch plywood doesn’t flex. It’s stiff. You get tighter bass and cleaner mids.

Also, wood looks professional. If you sell on Amazon, customers compare you to JBL or Yamaha. Those use wood. Plastic speakers get returned. Wood ones don’t.
